Formula 1 has confirmed the sprint race calendar for 2026. Sprint events will be held in Shanghai (China), Miami (USA), Montreal (Canada), Silverstone (UK), Zandvoort (Netherlands) and Singapore.
The dates are: China (March 13-15), Miami (May 1-3), Canada (May 22-24), Britain (July 3-5), Netherlands (August 21-23) and Singapore (October 9-11).
Montreal, Zandvoort and Singapore will host sprint-format events for the first time.
Sprint race weekends will follow this format: one practice session and sprint qualifying on Friday, the sprint and the race qualifying on Saturday, and the full Grand Prix on Sunday. Points will be awarded to drivers finishing first through eighth in the sprint.
