Formula 1 Champion Jenson Button Announces His Retirement

According to the BBC, 2009 Formula 1 World Champion and British racing driver Jenson Button announced the end of his professional driving career.

On November 8, the 45-year-old Englishman will compete in the “Eight Hours of Bahrain” race, which will be his last.

Button competed in Formula 1 from 2000 to 2017, driving for Williams, Benetton, Renault, BAR, Honda, Brawn, and McLaren. In addition, the Briton participated in the "24 Hours of Le Mans" race for two seasons (2018, 2023).
