Hamilton Becomes First Ferrari Driver Since 2009 to Finish Last in Qualifying

Seven-time Formula 1 World Champion, 40-year-old British driver Lewis Hamilton, posted the worst result in qualifying at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, finishing last for the Ferrari team for the first time since 2009.

Hamilton failed to advance past the first qualifying segment, posting a time of 1:57.115, which resulted in his last place among all participants. The previous Ferrari driver to finish last in qualifying was Italy's Giancarlo Fisichella at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2009, who finished 20th with a time of 1:42.184.

Hamilton's teammate Charles Leclerc took ninth place. In 2009, Fisichella's teammate Kimi Raikkonen recorded the 11th-best result.
