Seven-time Formula 1 champion, British driver Lewis Hamilton, who races for Ferrari, answered whether he intends to continue competing for the Italian team in the upcoming 2026 season.
I wanna... I’m excited for a new generation of car because this has been the worst-designed one that I remember, probably at least in my phase. Maybe the 2009 generation was pretty bad also, but at least we had better tires and better grip.
Recall that Lewis Hamilton officially joined Ferrari in January 2025. However, he has not yet managed to win a Grand Prix event this current season.
After 23 races, the Brit occupies sixth place in the drivers' overall standings with 152 points, trailing the leader, McLaren's Lando Norris, by 256 points.
It should be noted that only one Grand Prix event remains before the end of the current Formula 1 season.
Previously, former Formula 1 driver and now television pundit Juan Pablo Montoya expressed the opinion that Ferrari might replace Lewis Hamilton with Oliver Bearman from the Haas team.
