The advisor to the Oracle Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team, former Austrian racing driver Helmut Marko, will leave his position at the end of 2025, according to insider Chris Medland.
According to available information, the official announcement of the 82-year-old official's departure is highly likely to follow on December 9. Marko, who has been working with The Red Bulls since 2005, has a current employment contract set to run until the end of the 2026 season.
Red Bull finished third in the Constructors' Championship standings with 451 points at the close of the 2025 Grand Prix season. Their drivers for the season were four-time world champion Max Verstappen and Japanese driver Yuki Tsunoda. In the next season, the Frenchman Isack Hadjar, previously a race driver for Racing Bulls, will join "Mad Max" in the Austrian team.
