Lawson Blamed for the Incident With Marshals at the F1 Grand Prix Mexico

After investigating the incident during the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Mexico, the Mexican Automobile Federation placed the blame on New Zealand driver Liam Lawson of Racing Bulls. This was reported on the federation’s official website.

The incident happened due to the presence of marshals on the track. During the Sunday race held at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City, Lawson collided with Alex Albon, the Thai Williams driver, at the first corner. Lawson was forced to pit to replace a damaged front wing.

At that moment, two yellow flags were activated to signal danger on the circuit, and Lawson narrowly avoided a collision with two marshals who were on track clearing debris.

The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has not yet released the results of its own investigation into the incident.
