Ferrari Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc commented on his teammate Lewis Hamilton’s remark about feeling useless during the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Obviously it’s a unique point of view and Lewis had an incredible career, so these are things that we are looking closely. But it didn’t only start now. It starts from the first race where you have the first points where things are different and you’ve got to get used to and other things that you want to change and this is part of the process. I don’t think there’s anything standing out now. Maybe it’s the first time he said it, so that’s why it makes such a reaction, but it’s nothing particular to this moment.
Recall that Lewis Hamilton, who qualified 12th for the Hungarian Grand Prix, said after the session that he felt absolutely useless.
The 40-year-old Briton officially joined Ferrari in January 2025. This season he has not yet won a single Grand Prix.
After 14 races Hamilton sits sixth in the drivers’ standings, trailing leader Oscar Piastri of McLaren by 175 points.
It is worth noting that during 11 years with German Mercedes he won seven Formula 1 titles.
