After finishing second at the Austrian Grand Prix, where Oscar Piastri finished behind his McLaren teammate Lando Norris, the driver commented on his risky overtaking attempt on the 20th lap.
Piastri acknowledged that his effort to pass Norris at Turn 4, which resulted in wheel locking and a near collision, was “too marginal”.

I thought it was a fair comment. Locking up and missing the back of your team-mate by not a lot is certainly pushing the boundaries.
He emphasized that the pursuit of victory is a complex process and, in this case, his decision was a mistake.
Earlier, it was reported that Norris apologized to Piastri for the crash at the Canadian GP.
