According to PlanetF1, Australian driver Jack Doohan, currently Alpine’s reserve driver, still has a chance to reclaim a race seat.
Doohan started the 2025 season as Alpine’s main driver but was replaced after the sixth round, the Miami GP, by Argentine Franco Colapinto. Both are the only drivers among 21 in the championship yet to score points.
On September 6, Alpine announced that French driver Pierre Gasly had extended his contract with the team through the 2028 season.
