Red Bull driver Yuki Tsunoda could compete in the IndyCar Series next season, reports IndyCar journalist Tony Donohue. The Japanese driver recognizes his chances of remaining with Red Bull are slim.
There has been rumors of Yuki Tsunoda possibly being inside of that No. 19 Dale Coyne Racing with Honda backing, obviously, for the 2026 season. I think we’ll find out next week, and I don’t believe he’ll be back in his F1 seat.
As of October 31, 2025, Tsunoda sits 17th in the Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship with 28 points. The top three positions are held by Red Bull’s Max Verstappen (321 points) and McLaren drivers Oscar Piastri (356) and Lando Norris (357).
