According to sources, the Dutch racer may respond positively to an offer from Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff. However, the publication notes that it is too early to speak of a contract with Mercedes, as the team has not yet made a final decision on this matter.
Currently, Verstappen ranks fourth in the drivers' standings with 155 points, while Red Bull sits fourth in the Constructors' Championship with 162 points.
