
Eren Uclertopragi, president of the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED), announced the Turkish government's intention to reinstate the Formula 1 Grand Prix permanently in the country.
He emphasized that since his appointment, the federation has been actively negotiating with Formula 1 and FIA leadership.

As is known, the 2026 calendar has already been announced. Nevertheless, in the event that a race cannot be held for various reasons, we could host the Turkish Grand Prix.
However, the primary goal, as highlighted by the TOSFED president, is not just a one-time event, but a stable return of Turkey to the Formula 1 calendar.
