Dutch driver Max Verstappen of the Austrian Formula 1 team Red Bull achieved the third fastest time in the second practice session for the Austrian Grand Prix.
After the session, the reigning world champion reported significant understeer in the car and emphasized that this issue needs to be resolved before Saturday.
Max Verstappen
Overall, [the day] was quite straightforward and we didn't have any big issues, but just lacked a bit of pace. There was a bit too much understeer in the car in the short and long runs, so that is something we have to try and get rid of.
The next race of the season will take place on Sunday, June 29, at the Austrian Grand Prix.
Currently, Verstappen is in third place in the drivers' standings, trailing the leader, McLaren driver Oscar Piastri, by 43 points.
This season, the Dutch driver from Red Bull has won the Grand Prix of Japan and Emilia-Romagna.
