Dutch driver Max Verstappen of the Austrian Red Bull team spoke about the decisive factor in the battle for his fifth Formula 1 championship title in the 2025 season.
Max Verstappen, quoted by BBC
For sure, the chance is there. We just need to try and deliver these kind of weekends to the end. We will try. It is exciting. Of course we know we need to be perfect to the end of the season to have a chance, but we will try, and if we succeed, of course amazing. If we don't, we tried everything we could to the end and we kept it exciting. That's the spirit for us. It's positive pressure. It's not putting anything on us. We're not stressed about it. We're just going flat out.
Last weekend, the 27-year-old Red Bull driver won the United States Grand Prix.
Currently, in the drivers’ standings, Max Verstappen is in third place, trailing the leader, Australian driver Oscar Piastri of the British McLaren team, by 40 points.
It’s worth recalling that the Formula 1 season has five races remaining.
Earlier, respected expert Leo Turrini suggested that Oscar Piastri might miss out on the F1 title this season.
