Verstappen Thanks Horner After His Departure from Red Bull

Max Verstappen, a four-time Formula 1 champion with Red Bull, expressed his gratitude to Christian Horner, the former head of the team with whom he shared many triumphs in Formula1.

Max Verstappen
From my first race win, to four world championships, we have shared incredible successes. Winning memorable races and breaking countless records. Thank you for everything, Christian!

On Wednesday, Red Bull announced firing 51-year-old Horner, who had held the leadership position since 2005. He will be succeeded by Frenchman Laurent Mekies.

Under Horner's leadership, Red Bull won the Constructors' Championship six times, and both Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel secured the Formula 1 championship title a total of eight times (four times each).

In the current season, Verstappen sits in third place in the standings, while Oscar Piastri from McLaren leads the chart.
