Argentine football club Atlético San Telmo has announced the death of their 18-year-old midfielder Camilo Nuin during surgery on his knee's cruciate ligament.
After attempts at conservative treatment, Nuin decided to undergo a surgical procedure that, unfortunately, ended in tragedy.
The club expressed its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the player, who had been with San Telmo since 2022 after training in the academies of Boca Juniors and Independiente. The Argentine Football Association also extended its sympathies. The exact cause of death is under investigation.
