According to Football Italia, on the evening of October 20, Dutch authorities decided to arrest and deport 180 Napoli fans to prevent possible disturbances.
The reason was the violation of a designated safety zone in central Eindhoven by a group of Italian supporters. The group reportedly ignored multiple warnings to leave the city center, leading to arrests for violating municipal regulations on mass events.
The fans were taken to the police station, where it was found that some did not have tickets for the upcoming match. The third group stage Champions League match between PSV Eindhoven and Napoli is scheduled for October 21 at the Philips Stadion in the Netherlands.
After two group stage matches, PSV Eindhoven have one point, ranking 27th in the standings, while Napoli, with three points, are 19th.
