
The 38-year-old Uruguayan forward for Inter Miami, Luis Suarez, intends to extend his contract with the American club, according to The Athletic and Miami Herald.
Sources indicate that Luis Suarez is ready to extend his deal with Inter Miami until the end of December 2026.
This year, the Miami club won the MLS Cup, although the Uruguayan did not feature in the starting lineup for the final four playoff matches. His current agreement expires on December 31st.
The Uruguayan striker has played for Inter Miami since January 2024. In total, he has scored 42 goals and provided 29 assists in 89 matches across all competitions. Transfermarkt estimates the market value of the 38-year-old forward at €1.5 million.
Previously, it was reported that the other star forward of the “Herons”, Argentine Lionel Messi, signed a three-year contract and will remain with the American club until the end of 2028.
