Activist Al-Hathloul calls Ronaldo to pay attention to human rights violations in Saudi Arabia

ALQST for Human Rights member Lina Al-Hathloul urged Portuguese Al-Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, to pay attention to human rights violations in Saudi Arabia.

Lina Al-Hathloul, quoted by The Mirror
He has to use his voice for good. He can use his platform. Call for the release of prisoners, call for an end to male guardianship, end the execution of minors.

Ronaldo moved to the Saudi club at the end of December 2022, signing a contract until the summer of 2025 worth 500 million euros. Prior to that, in November, the Portuguese player terminated his agreement with Manchester United by mutual consent of the parties while staying with the national team at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
