Brazil and Al-Hilal forward Neymar will undergo knee surgery due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury and a torn knee meniscus sustained in the 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Uruguay (0-2).

This was announced by the press service of the Saudi club. The 31-year-old Brazilian was seriously injured during the game and left the field in tears.
