
Saudi club Al-Hilal, participating in the 2025 Club World Cup, has suffered injuries to three of its forwards: Aleksandar Mitrovic, Salem Al-Dawsari, and Marcos Leonardo. With the quarterfinal match against Brazilian side Fluminense set for July 4, the club’s management urgently sought replacements for the injured players.
Joining the team is forward Abderrazak Hamdallah from Al-Shabab, who has already started training with the squad in the United States. Notably, the 34-year-old Moroccan is one of the top scorers in the Saudi league, having scored 21 goals and provided two assists in 26 matches.
The 2025 Club World Cup is taking place in the USA from June 15 to July 13.
The tournament features 32 teams divided into eight groups of four clubs each. The top two teams from each group advance to the knockout stage.
The final match of the 2025 Club World Cup will be held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, which has a capacity of 82,500 fans.
