
Al-Hilal President Fahad bin Nafel has arrived in the U.S. to intensify negotiations for a potential transfer of Lionel Messi from Inter Miami to the Saudi club during the current transfer window, as reported by Argentine radio station Boing 97.3.
According to sources, bin Nafal recently held an important meeting with Messi's father and agent, Jorge Messi, in an effort to reach a compromise and agree on the star forward's move.
It’s noteworthy that both Inter Miami and Al-Hilal are participating in the Club World Cup happening in the U.S. at this time.
Messi's contract with Inter Miami runs until the end of 2025. Prior to this, he played for Barcelona and PSG, starting his career in the youth academy of Argentine club Newell's Old Boys.
