Saudi club Al-Nassr announced on social media the dismissal of head coach Stefano Pioli. In their press release, the team thanked the Italian coach for his time with the club.
Reports previously indicated that Pioli would be the new head coach of Fiorentina after leaving Al-Nassr. He has already identified his first transfer target for the Italian team – Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko.
Under Pioli's management, Al-Nassr finished third in the Saudi Arabian league last season. The Italian took charge of the team in September 2024.
Throughout his coaching career, he has also worked with Bologna, Lazio, Inter, Fiorentina, and AC Milan.
