The head coach of Tottenham Ange Postecoglou was fired. This is reported by the press service of the London club. The decision on his dismissal was made by the President of the London club Daniel Levy.
The club expressed gratitude to Postecoglou for his work and contribution during his two years in charge, marking him as the third coach to win a European trophy, along with Bill Nicholson and Keith Burkinshaw.

Brentford's Thomas Frank is expected to be the team's new coach.
In the 2024/25 season, Postecoglou led Tottenham to victory in the UEFA Europa League. The trophy was the first for the club since 2008. However, the team took only 17th place in the English Premier League (EPL).
