
According to Telecomasia.net, 21-year-old midfielder Artur Serobyan, currently on loan from Ararat-Armenia to Sheriff, has turned down a potential move to Sochi in the summer transfer window.
Insider Suren Meliksetyan previously reported Sochi's interest in the player, and representatives of the Russian club have spoken with Serobyan's team but received a preliminary refusal. Negotiations are ongoing, and no official transfer proposal has been made by Sochi to Ararat-Armenia.
The loan agreement between Ararat-Armenia and Sheriff for Serobyan runs until the end of the year. The midfielder has played 21 matches for the Armenian national team, providing one assist. Transfermarkt estimates his market value at 450,000 euros.
