London's Arsenal has made a new and more attractive offer to Lisbon's Sporting to acquire Swedish forward Viktor Gyokeres.
According to Record, the Gunners are prepared to propose a payment of 65 million euros, along with an additional 15 million euros in bonuses.
However, the Portuguese club is reportedly not satisfied with this offer, insisting on 70 million euros as the base amount. Sporting are willing to part ways with the Swedish striker for a total deal amount of 80 million euros. Discussions between the two sides regarding the potential transfer are ongoing.
Last season, Gyokeres appeared in 52 matches across all competitions, scoring 54 goals and providing 13 assists. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2028. According to Transfermarkt, the player's estimated value is 75 million euros.
