Arsenal Set Record as First EPL Team With Six Clean-Sheet Wins in a Month

On October 29, at the Emirates Stadium in London, a Round of 16 English League Cup match took place, where Arsenal beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0.

The goals for the Gunners were scored by midfielder Ethan Nwaneri (57th minute) and forward Bukayo Saka (76th minute).

Thus, according to Opta Sport, the London club set an all-time English football record, becoming the first team in English Premier League (EPL) history to achieve six consecutive clean-sheet wins within one month.

It should be noted that Mikel Arteta’s squad defeated Crystal Palace (1-0), Fulham (1-0), and West Ham United (2-0) in the English Championship, as well as beating Atletico Madrid (4-0) and Olympiacos (2-0) in the UEFA Champions League group stage during October.

After nine games played in the 2025-2026 EPL season, Arsenal have earned 22 points and are currently first in the league table.
