FC Barcelona has announced the dates and venues for two exhibition matches featuring former players from the club and Real Madrid legends. The matches will take place in the USA – on September 9, the teams will clash in Harrison, New Jersey, and then on September 13 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The first match will be held at Red Bull Arena, home to MLS club New York Red Bulls, which can host 25,000 spectators. The second game will take place at DRV PNK Stadium, home to Inter Miami, with a capacity of around 21,500.
According to Barcelona’s press office, the clash between the star players of the two Spanish powerhouses has become a regular feature in the international football calendar. The club's veterans have already played seven matches together, five of which took place last season.
