Barcelona striker Memphis Depay has decided to leave the team and move to Italian Roma, the Spanish press reports.

Earlier it was reported that head coach of the Rome club José Mourinho believes Depay is a valuable reinforcement in the attacking line of his team. It was noted that the Netherlands national team player is also being watched by Turin fc Juventus, as they were one step away from signing the player last summer.

It is known that the Catalans also don't mind parting with the 28-year-old footballer in order to unload the payroll.

Depay played for Barcelona in the summer of 2021. His contract with the Catalan club is valid until the summer of 2023. The Dutchman played 36 games for Barcelona in the 2021/22 season in all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing two assists. Besides, Depay was forced to hand over to the Pole the number nine he played under last season.
