
Barcelona president Joan Laporta is considering leaving the Super League project, leaving Real Madrid to continue defending their interests alone, Marca reports citing RAC1.
According to sources, negotiations between Barcelona and UEFA have made significant progress in recent months. The Catalan club believes UEFA has partly accepted their demands, creating more favorable terms for cooperation.
Meanwhile, it is emphasized that Real Madrid are not planning to give up on the Super League idea.
Earlier it was reported that leadership of both Barça and Real secretly negotiated with UEFA about changing the Champions League format.
