Barcelona Plan to Sign Kane as a Replacement for Lewandowski

Barcelona intend to sign Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane, as striker Robert Lewandowski may leave the Spanish club next summer, according to The Guardian.

The source reports that the Blaugrana view the 32-year-old England international as the ideal option to strengthen their attacking line. It is noted that Barcelona are prepared to activate Kane’s buyout clause, set at €65 million.

The Englishman joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023. This season, Kane has appeared in 17 matches for the Munich club across all competitions, scoring 23 goals and providing three assists.

His contract with Bayern Munich runs until June 30, 2027. Transfermarkt currently values him at €77.7 million.

The 37-year-old Lewandowski has played 12 matches for Barcelona this season across all competitions, scoring seven goals.
