Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is nearing the end of his recovery from a back injury sustained in July, reports Sport.es.
According to the source, the 33-year-old shot-stopper has already resumed on-field training sessions at the club’s Ciutat Esportiva facility. He is expected to make a full return to action by the end of November.
Notably, once back in full fitness, Ter Stegen is hoping to receive clarity from Barcelona’s management regarding his future at the club. A loan move to another team in January, or even a permanent departure has not been ruled out.
Ter Stegen’s current contract runs until the summer of 2028. His market value, as listed by Transfermarkt, stands at €8 million.
