Barcelona Set 12-Year Goal-Scoring Record

On December 21, Barcelona defeated Villarreal 2-0 in a match in the 17th round of the 2025-26 La Liga season. According to Opta, the Catalans have now scored at least one goal in 38 consecutive matches.

This marks the longest scoring streak for the Blaugrana since 2013. Twelve years ago, Barcelona managed to score in 64 consecutive games, which remains the longest streak in Spanish league history.

After 17 rounds of the current La Liga season, Barcelona lead the table with 46 points. In the 18th round, Hansi Flick's side will face Espanyol. The match is scheduled for January 3.
