Barcelona will play against Athletic Bilbao at the renovated Spotify Camp Nou stadium in a La Liga match on November 22. The club announced the news on their social media channels.
Despite the stadium's capacity of 99,354 seats, only 45,000 fans will be able to attend the match, as the sports arena has not yet completed all stages of licensing.
The club's management plans to obtain the next license, which will allow for a capacity of 60,000 people, in early 2026.
Barcelona last played at their home stadium on May 28, 2023, securing a 3-0 victory over Mallorca. The Camp Nou was closed for reconstruction in the summer of 2023.
The Blaugrana currently sit in second place in the La Liga table with 28 points after 12 rounds.
Previously, Barca president Joan Laporta shared plans to erect a monument to club legend Lionel Messi at the reconstructed Spotify Camp Nou stadium.
