
Barcelona are thrilled with the performance of their loaned striker Marcus Rashford and plans to buy him from Manchester United, reports The Sun.
The Blaugrana had second thoughts about a permanent deal for the Englishman, but now they welcome the chance to get Marcus at a bargain. In case of the transfer, Barcelona will have to pay 25 million euros, with an additional 5 million potentially paid in bonuses, according to the source.
Rashford has played for Barcelona since summer 2025. He has appeared in 10 matches across all competitions for the Catalan club, scoring three goals and providing five assists. Transfermarkt estimates him at 40 million euros.
After eight La Liga rounds, Hans-Dieter Flick’s team stands second in the table with 19 points. In the ninth round, Barcelona will face Girona. The match is scheduled for October 18 at 17:15 GMT+3.
