Barcelona Want to Part with Ter Stegen Due to His Behaviour

According to Sport.es journalist Javi Torres, Barcelona management is considering the option of selling 33-year-old goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

The German goalkeeper has been playing for the Catalans since 2014 and is currently the captain of the team. Due to an injury sustained in the last season-2024/2025, Marc-Andre played only nine matches in all tournaments.

It is reported that the head coach of the Blaugrana Hans-Dieter Flick expressed dissatisfaction with the behaviour of ter Stegen after recovery from injury. The specialist did not like the demand of the goalkeeper to let him play in the starting line-up for the Champions League semi-final matches against Inter.

Last season, Barcelona won all three national trophies, but in the Champions League they crashed out at the semi-final stage.
