French central defender Dayot Upamecano of Bayern Munich has attracted the interest of two leading English Premier League (EPL) teams at once.
According to information obtained from journalist Graeme Bailey, Manchester City and Chelsea are actively exploring the possibility of acquiring him. The 27-year-old footballer's current agreement with the German club expires next summer, after which he will become a free agent.
Previously, the list of clubs showing interest in Upamecano included Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Liverpool. However, the Bayern management is not abandoning attempts to conclude a new agreement with the player. In the current season, the defender has participated in 20 games, scoring one goal.
According to Transfermarkt estimates, Upamecano's transfer value is estimated at 60 million euros.
