Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich contract includes a €65 million release clause valid until summer 2026. That option is active until January 31, 2025, per Bayern & Germany citing journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl.
According to the source, Bayern intend to wait for the release clause to expire before starting serious contract extension talks. Bayern hope that Kane does not want to return to England.
Kane is Bayern’s highest-paid player, earning €24 million annually. The club does not plan to increase his salary as it aims to reduce expenses. Besides, Kane will be 34 when his contract ends in 2027.
Since joining Bayern in August 2023, Kane has scored 18 goals and provided three assists in 10 matches across all competitions. Transfermarkt estimates the 32-year-old at €75 million.
After six Bundesliga rounds, Bayern lead the table with 18 points. In the next round, they will host a match against Borussia Dortmund on October 18 at 19:30 GMT+3.
