Bayern Munich's Goalkeeper Ulreich Confirms Son's Death After Long Illness

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Sven Ulreich shared heartbreaking news about his family — his son Len passed away a few weeks ago after a prolonged and serious illness.

Ulreich mentioned that it was an extremely difficult decision to share this sorrow, but it was important for the family to clarify the situation and prevent rumors. The footballer’s family has requested that the public and media respect their privacy and refrain from further inquiries.

Together with our daughter, we are now trying, step by step, to find our way back to life. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our families, friends, and FC Bayern München for their discretion and great support in recent months — it means a great deal to us.

Ulreich has been with the Munich club since 2021, with a contract running until the end of the 2025/26 season. He played just two matches last season.
