Bayern Will Not Acquire Players in Winter Transfer Window

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl commented on the club's activity regarding the upcoming winter 2026 transfer window.

Max Eberl
We are not looking outside because we have our squad […] We have communicated sufficiently that three injured players are coming back and are simply like new additions for us, who also have to be integrated first. We will not bring in anything external in the winter.

Following 14 rounds of the 2025-2026 season, Bayern, under the management of Vincent Kompany, have 38 points and sit in first place in the German championship standings.

On December 12, Kicker reported that Bayern defender and French international Dayot Upamecano had suspended contract extension negotiations with the Munich management. On December 20, insider Christian Falk reported that Bayern is monitoring Midtjylland forward Franculino Dju.
