
Former England and Manchester United footballer and owner of Inter Miami David Beckham will receive a knighthood from the King of Great Britain.
According to The Sun, the name of the 50-year-old former football player is on the list of people to be awarded next week.
Thus, the word “sir” will have to be attached to Beckham's name, and his wife Victoria Beckham will become a "lady".
Beckham has played for Manchester United, Real Madrid, PSG, AC Milan and the Los Angeles Galaxy. In the England national team he played 115 matches, scored 17 goals and made 42 assists. In 2013, the footballer finished his career.
