According to the German newspaper Bild, Real Madrid’s leadership has decided to sell Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior in the summer of 2026.
The report states this decision followed the incident during the 2-1 victory over Barcelona. Real president Florentino Perez is said to be tired of the player’s provocative behavior and intends to send a clear message that no player is bigger than the club.
Vinicius has played for the Spanish powerhouse since the summer of 2018. Across all competitions, he has made 337 appearances, scoring 111 goals and providing 87 assists. His current contract runs through the summer of 2027. Transfermarkt estimates him at €150 million.
Earlier reports indicated Vinicius could sign with Paris Saint-Germain.
