Porsche Supercup driver Wouter Boerekamps praised four-time Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen’s exceptional pedal control in an interview with Racingnews365.
Boerekamps recounted how Verstappen locked all four wheels in Budapest due to excessive braking pressure, pressing 140 kg on the pedal as was his habit.
Then he put new tyres on the car, drove it out and he immediately hit 64.8 or 64.9 bar, with the whole brake trace just being straight. That's not normal, nobody does that. Except him.
As of September 26, in the Formula 1 individual standings, Max Verstappen is in third place with 255 points. First place is held by Oscar Piastri, representing McLaren, with 324 points. Second place is taken by his teammate Lando Norris with 299 points.
On September 21, Max Verstappen won the race of the 17th stage of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which lasted 51 laps. Second place went to George Russell (Mercedes), and third place to Carlos Sainz (Williams).
