Brazilian Internacional Mascot Accused Of Sexual Harassment

Journalist Gisele Kumpel accused the mascot of Internacional football club of sexual harassment during a match in the Brazilian Serie A, reports by TyC Sports.

The incident occurred during a match against Gremio in the tenth round of the championship, which ended in a 3-2 victory for Internacional.

Kumpel stated that the mascot constantly gestured at her, and after the winning goal, hugged her, grabbed her head, and kissed her. Following the journalist's words, the club management handed over CCTV footage to the police and suspended the team member.

Earlier, FIFA suspended former Barcelona player Marc Overmars from football for a year due to a sex scandal. The service member of the US biathlon national team, Petr Garabik, was also suspended from work due to harassment.
