In a video on the Mail Sport Football YouTube channel Ronaldo said:

In 2023, Ronaldo became the world's top scorer, scoring 53 goals in 58 matches. Messi scored 29 goals in 44 games.
Previously, Manchester City forward Erling Haaland named Messi as the greatest footballer in history. Former Chelsea captain and England national team player John Terry advised young players to look up to Ronaldo.
