Juventus central defender Gleison Bremer has shared his thoughts on which clubs will compete for the Serie A championship in the upcoming season. In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Brazilian listed the teams he believes have the greatest potential to challenge for the scudetto.
The fight will be between four regular teams. Napoli are the favourites because they won the title last season and strengthened the team in the transfer market. Inter remain a very strong team. Then there's Milan, who now have Allegri and no European competition. And of course, there's Juventus.
The 27-year-old has been with Juventus since 2022, having transferred from Torino. During his time with the Bianconeri, he has made 91 appearances, scored eight goals, and provided one assist. Additionally, he has played five matches for the Brazilian national team. Transfermarkt estimates his market value at 50 million euros.
In the 2024/25 season, Juventus secured 4th place in Serie A, which qualified them for the UEFA Champions League. In the Club World Cup, Juventus were eliminated in the round of 16 by Real Madrid.
