Bruno Fernandes confirms refusal to move from Manchester United to Al-Hilal

Manchester United midfielder and captain Bruno Fernandes has confirmed that he has turned down an offer from Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal to continue his career in England.

The Portuguese has been playing for the Red Devils since 2020, having won the FA Cup and the English League Cup with MU. Earlier it was reported that the management of Al-Hilal offered the English club about 119 million euros for Fernandes.

Bruno Fernandes quoted by Fabrizio Romano
The president called me, I rejected. I spoke to Amorim. He asked me not to go. Manchester United didn't want to sell me. And they don't need the money. But if I had wanted to leave, they would have made it happen.

Fernandes' current contract with Manchester United runs until 2027. The Transfermarkt website estimates the value of the 30-year-old midfielder at 50 million euros.
