Chelsea are showing serious interest in Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers and intend to sign him this summer, as reported by Caught Offside.
According to the source, the London club is prepared to propose a player exchange along with a cash payment to reduce the cost of the 22-year-old midfielder.
Aston Villa estimate the England international's transfer at approximately 75-80 million euros. In response, Chelsea plan to include Benoit Badiashile, Trevoh Chalobah, and Tosin Adarabioyo in the deal to help cover part of the fee for Morgan Rogers.
Last season, Aston Villa's midfielder played 54 matches across all competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing 15 assists. His contract with the Birmingham club runs until the summer of 2030. According to Transfermarkt, Morgan Rogers' market value is estimated at 55 million euros.
