Chelsea defeated Salzburg at the fifth round of the UEFA Champions League group stage.
Graham Potter's team scored twice. Mateo Kovačić and Kaj Havertz were the scorers. The only goal of the Austrian team was scored by Chukwubuike Adamu.
After this win, Chelsea made it out of the group ahead of schedule and will play in the 2023 tournament playoffs.

In the final round of the group stage, Chelsea will play Dinamo Zagreb and Salzburg will face AC Milan.
