Enzo Maresca, head coach of London’s Chelsea, announced that midfielder Cole Palmer is expected to be sidelined for approximately six more weeks due to an injury.
Maresca said, as reported by journalist Ben Jacobs on his personal social media account:
I was wrong. Unfortunately, he needs another six weeks. Yes, of course, no surgery. We are just trying to protect Cole as much as we can.
In the current English Premier League season, Palmer has played in three matches for Chelsea and scored one goal.
